It's been a while

I have been really bad at updating Brayden's blog. Let's see my last blog was last year, Brayden had just started his new School. He is learning so much and doing great. He was in a Thanksgiving and Christmas play. He loves art and music class!

Brayden was so much fun at Christmas. He LOVED opening all of the gifts..even the ones that didn't belong to him.

We went back to the beach for New Years. Brayden got to hangout with daddy and grandpa at the docks and his swim lessons paid off because he took a slip and fell in the water.

Brayden's love is still Thomas and Friends. He will say mom can we go to Target and get a new train...he knows and wants them ALL!


Brayden is a sweet child..he always says please, thank you, bless you, I'm sorry, Sir and Ma'am (just a little confused because I'm a sir)! He has an appetite like his daddy..eats 24/7! He is a growing boy!

First Day of School

Brayden started school on Sept 2 and he loves it! Ms. Karen is his teacher and he has 3 other boys and 2 girls in his class. Fischer is one of his classmates! He goes Mon, Tues and Wed from 8:30 to 12:30. Our little monkey is growing too fast!

CHOO CHOO

We took Brayden to Chattanooga, to the Tennessee Valley Railroad. We went on a train ride over bridges and under tunnels. At the end of the ride we got to see the only working turn table for Trains around. Brayden had a BLAST!

Bye Bye Barney

As you all know Brayden was a huge Barney fan when he was a baby. When Brayden was less than 6 months old we went over to Lesley's so Brayden and Fischer could have a play date. Fischer had this barney doll that was passed down to him from his older cousin Gracey. The entire day Brayden would not let this doll out of his sight. When it was time to go Brayden screamed and cried and did not want to leave Barney behind so Les said he could borrow it. Well almost 2 years later...it's time to give Barney back. Brayden was a little sad and gave Barney a big bye hug and kiss! Then he remembered he had Gordon and everything was fine. Brayden is crazy for his trains now...Gordon is his FAVORITE! He shares Thomas, James, Henry, Spencer and all of his other trains but not Gordon, he goes everywhere with Brayden!

Mr. Independent

Brayden had a great time at the steam engine parade on July 4th. He ran around collecting candy and saying "CHOO CHOO"!

I'm 2!

Brayden turned 2! He is doing GREAT! He weighs 36lbs and is 38". He is a big boy...estimated to be between 6'2-6'4! He is talking non-stop, counting, saying his ABC's and colors! The pacifier disappeared the week of his birthday and he was fine with it. We are starting to potty train, so hopefully, by the end of the summer he will be wearing big boy underwear! Brayden just finished swim lessons and did great. He is swimming to the side of the pool and to the ladder. We will be spending most of our summer at the pool or the beach!

22 months!

Almost 2! Brayden is doing GREAT, eating like a champ, sleeping 12 hours a night and talking non-stop! I picked him up from school yesterday and asked, Did you have a good day at school? He said "NO WAY"! He knows emotions..happy and sad. It's amazing!

Barney's Tour!

I thought Brayden would be so happy to see Barney because he has always loved watching his show. After we waited about 45 mins in line to see Barney, Brayden would NOT let go of me!

Happy 2008!

We spent New Years Eve in Seaside, Fl. our favorite place for rest and relaxation! We took Brayden's new 4-wheeler so he got to ride around and crash into the trees. We rode bikes for hours and Brayden caught a ride with daddy! The weather was perfect and the beach was beautiful!

It has been a while since my last blog but the last month has been crazy. Christmas was great with Brayden! He got LOTS of gifts and Santa was very generous.
